| In the early 70s, I was voted the USPTA pro
of the year for my innovative system of instruction known as
Effortless Tennis. This technology focused on the principles
of physics, combined with an entertaining and surprising approach
to using these forces. Simply put, it enabled players to use
about 80% less energy to achieve more than 50% more power. The
obvious benefit of this approach was dramatically increased
endurance, fewer errors, and a dramatically increased sense
of fun and expertise. These same principles were then applied
to skiing and golf, with similar results. In a nutshell, learning
to LET the forces do the work, getting OUT OF THE WAY of those
energies, and establishing positions and swing paths that allowed
the inherent forces to do the work yield surprising improvements
in comfort, power, and consistency. And perhaps most importantly,
FUN. These three copyrighted books on this system are available
either as direct e-mailed texts or as printed material. See
